JUNIOR LIFEGUARD CLUB RESCUE STAGES

Ready, willing, and totally capable!
Rescue Stage's is serious fun. It is designed for kids 8-15yrs who do not want the structure of lessons or the competition of club swimming. They learn to work as part of a team in areas of swimming, lifesaving, community projects, leadership & fitness while still learning traditional swimming skills. They will also learn to have strong association with others in their club. Again, our coaches are passionate, engaging, knowledgable and fun to be around. They will have your budding lifeguard yearning to be in the water for life. Because if its not fun, its not learning.
Rescue stages will be learning how to execute Dry Rescues, Wade Rescues and Accompanied Rescues and will receive certificates according to their skill attainment. This programme also includes a shirt.
****** You must be able to competently swim 25m and tread water for 2 mins*******
ADULT LEARN TO SWIM - individual or group
It is important for adults to learn to swim too. We offer a safe, judgment free environment for adults to learn to swim. Now you can get over that fear and take up an enjoyable activity. Preferred equipment – goggles, flippers. These can be purchased online or at any sports shop. Kickboards are provided. Sometimes the fun factor for adult learn to swim is lost as we concentrate so hard to get our coordination going. Fun most definitely begins when the arms, legs and breathing all coincide!
ADULT SWIM SQUAD - minimum pre-bookings required
The adult squad is for 16 yrs and over. The squad is for those who are competent swimmers who are wanting to work on their fitness or have a specific sporting goal such as a triathlon. Sessions include stroke development, speed & endurance. Squad swimmers should ideally be able to comfortably complete 100m freestyle. Equipment needed – goggles, flippers, pull buoy. These items can be purchased online or at any sports shop. Kick boards are provided. Its a tad more serious than the kids activities but its still fun. You will be amazed how much you can accomplish as part of a squad.
